Creating ceramics by the sea with Live Life Retreats in Ireland

I spent a gorgeous afternoon admiring this view through the open door of Irish artist Olga Fitzpatrick’s cedar-clad studio, which is perched on a cliff at her home in County Wicklow.  My friend Elly and I were in a ceramics session with Olga, whose fun and gentle teaching was a fitting end to a wonderful private retreat hosted by Tara O’Rourke of Live Life Retreats. It was delicious to look out to the moody sky and smell the briny sea as we worked wet clay with our hands, imprinting our creations with shells from the private beach and flowers from the forest.
