Retreats in May
We’re a third of the way through the year and what a wonderful time to take stock of how we’re doing and where we’re going. You can expect long days of sunshine in Asia and Africa, and the warmer weather at our UK and European retreats makes outdoor exercise like wild swimming and paddle-boarding much more pleasant. In many parts you can spot the cow parsley in hedgerows and smell the wild garlic that carpets the woods. Keep an eye open for badger cubs emerging from their setts and baby hares crouching in the fields. Immerse yourself in nature in leafy Kent in England where you can sit round a campfire and listen to the nightingales sing or join a gardening retreat in pretty Devon. You might make for Spain and undertake a memorable, long-distance walk. If you fancy pulling over to the slow lane, consider Greece where we have a lovely, slow-living retreat on a secret island. Fancy doing some work on yourself? How about a brilliant surf-therapy retreat in Devon in England or find your joy in France? Or head for the sunny island of Crete, where you can have some fun with some art therapy. It’s a magical month for a retreat.
