Experiences
Mayr Cure programmes, Mayr Med Diagnostic and Mayr Med Detox, use detoxification and de-acidification to improve gut health and get to the root of many problems such as insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, high blood pressure, heart disease and gastrointestinal issues.
You can also choose from one of three extra modules – Mayr Med Health Check to gain detailed insights into your health status, Mayr Intensive Weight Loss to train your metabolism to burn fat effectively or Mayr Deep Detox for an inner cleanse.
One of six medical doctors will handhold you through prescribed holistic therapies, which include Traditional Chinese Medicine and a diet tailored to your needs. Cardiac investigations, stress tests and other medical diagnostics help with specific issues.
Therapeutic treatments to complement the detox process include abdominal massages, alkalising detox baths and warm hay flower detox compresses for your liver, plus shiatsu, kinesiology and plenty of massages. There’s a beauty spa with luxury organic Sodashi facials and results-driven body shaping and anti-ageing treatments.
Enjoy a lakeside sauna, then take a dip in the lake, swim in the indoor pool and relax in the spa, or read or sleep on a daybed in the garden. Daily guided walks and gentle hikes with breath-taking views allow you to immerse in nature, and there are paddle boards to use if you so choose.
Spaces
The traditional chalet-style building is more family home than medical centre, with sitting rooms graced by comfy sofas and roaring fires off the reception area. There’s also a cosy library, show kitchen for demonstrations, restaurant and tea room.
The spa has different saunas, brine steam baths, a solarium and Kneipping area, and there’s an indoor swimming pool.
A footbridge allows direct access (via lift or stairs) to the lakeside and beach house, which consists of bright and airy rooms, a comfy lounge area, complemented by a Finnish sauna, sanarium and massage rooms.
There are 19 serene double rooms, 15 single rooms, 11 gorgeous junior suites and suites with lake views and a separate living space or terrace.
All rooms are en-suite and individually designed, and combine first-class, modern facilities with historic timber-frame cosy charm and neutral decor of warming taupes, sand and pale blue for calmness.
Sustenance
Freshly cooked and easy-to-digest dishes comprising highly nutritious ingredients with enticing aromas, taste and presentation are at the heart of Original Mayr cuisine.
Fresh, warm buckwheat bread rolls are served at breakfast, along with alternating vegetarian spreads or an egg.
For lunch you might be served fine, creamy soups and light meals. Supper is a light tasty bouillon, all prepared according to your personal needs and goals.
Filtered water and herbal teas are available throughout the day.
