Online therapy retreats for women to transform heartbreak into hope
Run by Alice Haddon, a counselling psychologist with 30 years’ experience, these online retreats are for women whose hearts have been broken. Whether you’re suffering heartache, divorce, grief, loss, transition or shattered dreams, Alice’s online programmes are a safe, confidential space where your heart can begin to mend. Expect to work through challenges, gain clarity and emerge stronger and more hopeful.
our Reviewer ‘Emma’ says of her moving beyond betrayal retreat:
‘I soon found I’d been telling myself all sorts of stories – that I’d been a rubbish wife and I was ugly and fat, and that’s why my husband had the affair’
Queen of Retreats says:
‘Alice is the author of Finding Yourself at The Heartbreak Hotel, and experienced in emotional recovery so be sure to put some thought into the exercises she sends you before the retreat.’
Experiences
Your therapy will start with a complimentary 20-minute consultation so you and Alice can ascertain if you’re ready to tackle deep personal work. Share current challenges and identify goals, and decide whether online therapy is right for you. You’ll get a glimpse of what the extended session might look like.
Over two hours the Deep Dive Extended Session will be focused and powerful, aiming to give you clarity and direction. Alice will use evidence-based techniques to help you understand your situation, gain clarity and map a path forward. You will also get a follow-up email 48 hours later for continued support.
If you choose the Extended Care programme, you’ll get the Extended Session, along with a month of email support directly from Alice. This ongoing connection can help you handle change, track progress and stay on course with your goals.
Space and Sustenance
These retreats take place online, so you’ll need a quiet space in your own home, or a place of your choice, where you won’t be disturbed and where you’ll feel free to discuss anything that comes up.
Ideally, you’ll have a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone. Alice uses secure, user-friendly video conferencing software, and detailed instructions will be sent after booking.
Have to hand water to drink and some tissues. Some people like to surround themselves with candles and flowers so they feel they’re on retreat.
